What
is annual reassessment?
Annual
reassessment is a systematic review of the assessments of
the Town every year. A
systematic review of each parcel does not mean that every
assessment is going to change
every year.
Do
I have to apply or reapply for the STAR exemption every year?
No,
if you are under 65 years of age.
For those turning 65 an for those
over 65, they must
renew each year.
What
is required?
A
copy of latest income tax if one was filed or a social security
benefit statement, interest statements and pension
statements,
if
one was not filed along with the renewal
