The Assessment Department is responsible for placing an equitable value on each parcel. This is achieved
each year through annual reassessment. The Assessor is available by appointment, anytime during the year,
to discuss assessments.

Some of the many functions of the Assessor’s Office are:

1.     Value property
2.     Process exemptions
3.     Sales verification
4.     Data collection of new construction

All exemption forms must be filed by March 1^st.

Grievance Day      Tuesday, May 22nd. by appointment only. 5 copies of RP-524 (located in the Assessor's office or online at www.orps.state.ny.us) must be submitted to receive an appointment for Grievance Day. Call the Assessor's Office at 638-0839 for more information
July 1:                      Final Roll Filed
