Tai Chi Classes
TAI CHI is a Chinese martial art that is primarily practiced for its
health benefits including a means for dealing with tension and stress. There
are two basic types of martial arts, the hard martial arts and the soft style.
Tai Chi is considered a “soft” style, though regular practice provides for an
excellent low cardio, toning workout.
Tai Chi emphasizes complete relaxation & is essentially
taught as a form of meditation in motion. The mind becomes quiet, as the body
moves to rejuvenate & strengthen itself. Soft,
slow, flowing and gentle movements built on the development of balance,
coordination and strong energy flow. This creates a healthful and rewarding
treat to daily living. This is an excellent couple’s activity.
