Please note that other then the Adult Basketball & Walking Program - you are required to register & pay for all other programs BEFORE attending the 1st class.
Also - if you are thinking about signing up for any of the following programs - please do not wait until the day before or the day of to do so. At some point there has to be enough to run a particular program or we will have to cancel the program - leaving those that did sign up early - disappointed. So please register early - don't wait.

We will do a pre-testing on January 5th to make sure your child is in the right level. Children will be moved and lessons will start that day

Baldwinsville Youth Wrestling Program – 1 Opening
This 7 week program is an excellent way to learn some of the right moves and holds that once made Baldwinsville a power house in the sport. This is a contact program, held in a safe & fun environment. Please note that this is also a Co-ed program and girls may have to wrestle boys. Tony Burkinshaw will be back again this year as the Baldwinsville Youth Wrestling Coach.

Beginner Horseback Riding Lessons
Learn basic horsemanship and care of a horse. This is a good start up program. You should only sign up for one session. This program is for ages 7 year olds & up.

Golf Lessons
This clinic will run for 8 weeks & will be for all level golfers. It is an economical means to learn full swing mechanics as well as finesse shots. Hickory Hill instructors are trained to help you increase your enjoyment of the game and are anxious to see you hone your skills. Kids Clubs available through the Sticks for Kids program, call for availability all clubs are on a first come, first serve policy.

Red Cross Babysitting Class
This course will include: planning for a babysitting job, knowing what to expect of children, selecting toys and games, supervising children, preventing accidents, giving 1st aid, rescue breathing, caring for infants and children and feeding them. Students who complete the course will receive a resource book full of pertinent information, as well as a certificate of completion. Students need to bring a lunch with them. You MUST be 11 years old BEFORE the program starts.

The class is held on Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at Baker High School in Help Lab.

Beginner Guitar Lessons - FULL
Get your guitar out of the closet, blow off the dust and join us for guitar lessons. This class of group lessons will cover the basic chording and a variety of strums. Also instruction will be given on note reading and melody playing. Participants MUST bring their own guitar, as this will be a "hands on" hour of strummin'.... This program is for students 8 years old and up. Adults are welcomed. Max in class 11. Electric Guitars are okay but without the amp. Left handed players - please call the park office before registering.

This is a recreational program with teams formed from those present. This program is open to Adult residents from the Town of Lysander and the Town of Van Buren ONLY. No pre-registration is required. You must fill out a registration form the 1st time you attend along with proof of residency (current license).
This program is held on Monday & Thursday nights from 6:30 to 9:00 pm at Durgee Jr. High School. The cost is $1.00 each time you attend. The program is running now and will continue until March 20, 2008.

Walking Program -
Do you enjoy walking but hate walking in the dark? Then come inside for a brisk walk at Durgee Jr. High. This is a safe way to keep up your walking during the fall and winter months. Open to all ages, however if you are under 16 years old you will need an adult with you.
The program is held on Monday & Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Durgee Jr. High. There is no cost to this program. The program is running now and will continue until March 20, 2008.

Family Ski Day -
Ski for $7.00 at Four Seasons Ski Center in Fayetteville. The fee will cover the cost for a lift ticket or a cross country trail. There is also available lesson and rental packages for both downhill and cross country skiers. Skiers rent ski boots and poles for $20.00 and take a one hour lesson (payable at Four Seasons) You will need to register at the Park office in advance and pay the $7.00 fee.

Snow Tubing Night - 28 Registered
Come join the fun at Four Seasons Ski Center for a night of snow tubing. They supply the tube and pull you up the hill, you supply the laughter as soon as you zoom down the hill! Fun for kids of all ages. Separate slopes and lifts keep you safe from skiers.

TAI CHI -
TAI CHI is a Chinese martial art that is primarily practiced for its health benefits, including a means for dealing with tension and stress. Tai Chi is considered a "soft" style, though regular practice provides for an excellent low cardio, toning workout. Soft, slow, flowing and gentle movements built on the development of balance, coordination and strong energy flow. This is an excellent couples activity.
