Baldwinsville Community for our Annual Baldwinsville Youth Fair. It is
sponsored by the Town of Lysander Parks & Recreation Department. The event
will offer families a chance to find out, all in one place, what opportunities
are available for our Youth. Invited to participate are: Lysander Parks &
Recreation Department, Nursery Schools, Child Care Centers, Boys & Girls
Scouts, Sports Organizations, the Volunteer Center, Head Start, the YMCA &
more. There will also be entertainment, balloons, prize give-a-ways at most
booths, face painting, & much more. For more information contact: Lysander

Farm
Fest 2012
Lysander Parks & Recreation Department is teaming up with our
local Lysander farms to host a “Farm Fest” in May. Each participating farm will
highlight their products, produce, facility and we will help them do it by
producing a flier that will be available to Baldwinsville residents. We are meeting with various groups to pull
this off & look forward to a new event in our community. On board at the time of print are Abbott
Farms, Smoke Tree Farm and Stillwater Farm.
Also on board is Shacksboro Museum who will cover the historical portion
of farming in our community! Be on the
lookout for more information and fun events! What a perfect way to highlight
our wonderful farming community!
Wine Making
Class
Grab
a friend and have some fun while learning about wine making, then take home the
wine that you make! The course is four classes over a six week period (see
schedule). Choose from many different wine kits. Each kit makes 28-30 bottles
of wine and the juices come from all over the world. Wine choices include reds,
whites, dry, sweet and fruits. Whether you are just beginning to enjoy a good
wine or have loved wine for years; you will really enjoy the experience and
love the wine that you make! Your wine is perfect for gifts or just to enjoy
yourself & with friends. The fruit wines might make a great slushie for
summer!

“Junk
In Your Trunk” Sale
In conjunction with
the Radisson Garage Sales
Do a little
spring cleaning and get rid of all your “junk” by selling it out of your trunk
(of your car – of course). This trunk sale is open to the first 31 people who
are interested and who reserve a spot by paying the fee. The sale will
run rain or shine - all vendors are responsible for their own table(s),
chairs and sale items. Vendor space is 20’x20’ which is two full parking spots
(side by side). Tents if used must be able to go up and down in the same day
(No Stakes) Cars can be left in the spot or moved to the parking lot. For more

The
course will include: Planning for a babysitting job, knowing what to expect of
children, selecting toys & games, supervising children, preventing
accidents, giving first aid, rescue breathing, caring for infants &
children and feeding them. Students who complete the course will receive a
resource book full of pertinent information, as well as a certificate of
completion. Students should bring a lunch. Students MUST be 11 years old

level, previous yoga experience necessary. Vinyasa yoga, also known as Flow
Yoga, is a class of continuous movement where one pose flows into another. The
breath is synchronized with the movement and sets the length of the holding.
The flow is built around the series poses of the Sun Salutation which is
the foundation for the class. The continuous movement of a vinyasa makes
this style more aerobic and more challenging. Participants should have basic
knowledge of asanas and alignment. Heightened body awareness, strength,
and endurance is attained by this practice. (Kripalu certified teacher)
